Terms of Service

1. The Talqy service

Talqy connects to calendars selected by users, schedules a visible notetaker for eligible online meetings, processes meeting audio and provides transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, exports and controlled sharing. Talqy may improve, add or remove functionality while preserving applicable user rights.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your Google and Talqy accounts, and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. If you use Talqy for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms and configure recording and sharing policies for that organization.

3. Recording, notice and consent

Talqy joins meetings as a visible participant. You are responsible for ensuring that recording and transcription are permitted and that all required notices and consents have been obtained under applicable law, contracts and workplace policies. Do not use Talqy for a meeting where recording is prohibited or consent is absent.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain rights in content you provide or lawfully record. You grant Talqy the limited permission needed to host, process, transcribe, summarize, secure and deliver that content according to your settings. You must not submit unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, bypass access controls, probe the service, distribute malware or use Talqy to cause harm.

5. Availability and generated output

Transcripts and generated summaries may contain errors and must be reviewed before they are relied upon for legal, medical, financial, employment or other consequential decisions. Google Meet, Google Calendar, network conditions and third-party services may affect availability. We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or perfect transcription.

6. Fees and service limits

Paid plans, usage limits, renewal terms and applicable taxes are presented before a purchase. Talqy may limit or suspend usage that exceeds the selected plan, threatens service security or violates these terms. Any enterprise agreement signed with your organization prevails where it expressly conflicts with these online terms.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Talqy and disconnect Google Calendar at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment, with notice where reasonably possible. Data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Talqy is provided without warranties not expressly stated in an applicable written agreement. Talqy is not responsible for decisions made solely from generated output or for services controlled by third parties. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights are not excluded by these terms.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the service or law changes. The current effective date appears above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
